Which one sounds better?
I’m writing a Christmas card for a special someone *ahem ahem* and I need a Christmas greeting.
I’m thinking of writing the good old classic, “Merry Christmas & A Happy New Year”
But “Merreeeheee Krishhmus & A Happeee Noo Yeearh” seems cute too.
The first one is a bit boring, while the second looks a bit, how do I say it, somewhat messy in the card.
Which one should I write?
Should I write the 1st or the 2nd? Or should I write something else?
This certain someone I’m making this card for likes funny things. No romantic stuff. Funny, hilarious, jokes, you get the idea =)
My card is a handmade little red one with a felt Christmas tree stuck on top =D

AVOID the second – it sounds like a slurring drunk! The classic approach is much better than that alternative. The “Elmer Fudd” has possibilities. . . or you could add a felt cat, either nestled under, or climbing up the tree and use “Meow-y Christmas”
